Privacy

Treeline is a private group app. We collect as little as we can and never sell or share it.

What we keep

• Your name, email, and optionally a phone number, emergency contact and pickup area (never a home address).
• Your RSVPs, votes, suggestions, comments, photos and feedback.
• Delivery records for the emails we send you, so we can tell whether a message arrived.

Who sees what

• Members see names, RSVPs and pickup areas for hikes they're on, plus comments, photos and feedback.
• Only admins see emails, phone numbers, emergency contacts, who invited whom, and delivery status.
• Vote counts are visible; who voted for what isn't.

Services we use

Cloudflare hosts the app and data, Resend sends email, Google handles "Continue with Google", Sentry receives error reports (without your name or email), and the US National Weather Service provides forecasts.

Your choices

You can turn off any non-essential email, leave a group, or ask an admin to delete your account and data at any time.
